The Letran Squires debuted with a convincing 5pt victory. McJour Luib led the Squires w/18pts, 12 in the final canto, to give P.C.Cr its 3rd straight defeat.

San Beda Rizal d. FEU-FERN 92-43

The reigning NCAA Jr champions the San Beda Red Cubs notched its 2nd victory by routing the FEU-FERN by 49pts. The Taytay based Red Cubs led from tip-off to the final buzzer, w/ Chris Javier, Alfonso Gotladera & Von Chavez led San Beda w/11,10 &10 pts respectively.

Ateneo d. U.P.H.S.D. Jrs 82-76

After their upset loss to the N.U. Bullpups, the Blue Eaglets scored its 2nd straight victory, by ekking-out a 82-76 win over the Altalettes of University of Perpetual Help. R.P Youth standout Keifer Ravena led Ateneo w/18 pts., despite Joel Brito's 28 pts

Arellano U. d. E.A.C.- Mla 73-71

NCAA newcomers faced for the first time after being accepted as members, & the Arellano Chiefs came out the winners, by a close 75-73 victory, on a last second lay-up by Charles Mammie, to nail its 2nd straight win in Group C of the Seniors Division.

Mapua d. Adamson Srs 65-57

The Mapua Cardinals took the lead in Group B of the Seniors Division, as they trounced the Adamson Falcons 65-57, to notch it 2nd straight win. Big boy Yousef Taha, a Fil-Jordanian, led the Cardinals w/13 markers.

T.I.P. d. C.E.U. Srs 70-68

The much favored T.I.P. Engineers had to exert extra effort to beat the stubborn CEU Scorpions of Mendiola by just two pts. 70-68, to keep pace with the leaders in Group C, w/ a 2-1 record.
