in the first half, an absent-minded referee erred by awarding Revillosa
just one free throw – instead of two – after he was fouled while
hoisting a field attempt. The error was discovered after the halftime
buzzer but no replacement free throw was given thereafter. Down
40-30, the Uneans put together eight straight points to come within
two, 38-40. Following deadlocks at 44-44 and 46-46, Revillosa banked
a trifecta to put Uno ahead, 49-47, after three quarters. Grace
Christian was outscored, 19-9, in the third quarter. From 49-all,
Uno went on a 7-0 run built around a pair of threes by Isaiah Lim
for a 56-49 lead, time down to 7 minutes. Grace came right back
to score six straight and equalize the count at 60-all on a Brenson
Go undergoal stab, with 4:44 left. Isaac Lim broke the tie with
a three-pointer and assisted older brother Isaiah Lim for a fastbreak
layup as Uno moved ahead, 65-60, with 2:40 remaining. Isaiah Lim
scored 10 of his team-best 17 points in the fourth quarter. Grace
lost all of its seven assignments in the tournament. Uno’s two victories
